Perth Airport (PER) - Guide to Perth (PER) Airport

Perth is well serviced by public transport including buses and trains that provide connections to locations throughout Australia, with many highways servicing the area, including the Great Eastern highway.

Many choose to venture out of the city centre and into some of Perth's suburbs including Alexander Heights, Cuilacabardee, Fremantle, Malaga, Mandurah, Marangaroo and Sorrento. Transperth is a reliable public transport system that provides an excellent way to see Perth's attractions, while Transwa covers the suburbs.

Given the number of sites on offer in the city and its surrounding areas, many visitors choose to rent a car to explore Perth. The city is also connected to other eastern states by the Indian Pacific passenger rail service, which terminates at the Kewdale Rail Terminal, some 30 miles southeast of the city centre. Perth's major airport is the award-winning Perth International Airport. Flights arrive here regularly from airports around the world including Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa, as well as domestic centres in Australia.
